The UFO boat team
Boats such as those we offer cannot be created by an individual, rather it is the work of a collective effort.
A multitude of skills, whether they concern architecture, design, propulsion or equipment, call for contributions from many specialists.
Xavier Pillet
A pioneer in the design of windsurfing funboards, Xavier built his first hull at the age of 15.
With a passion for nautical design and hydrodynamics, Xavier produced fins and rudders for more than 10 years and acquired expertise in CAD and cutting edge composite technology.
He founded UFO composites, designed the U69 in a bid to satisfy his passion, and opened the UFO boat division to develop the nautical side of UFO. The design of the U119 is his work of art.
Hervé David
Before studying as a chemical engineer, Hervé grew up on board a boat.
When the opportunity to participate in an adventure combining naval design and implementation of top of the range composites presented itself, he didn't hesitate to join UFO as commercial director. He brings his many skills to our projects, notably his technical expertise and his experience in business development. A man who loves a challenge, he has been developing models in parallel since 2006.
Gregory Pelard
A naval architect and regatta competitor, Gregory Pelard brings his expertise in shipbuilding to UFO for the design and development of the U119. Fanatical about innovation and a great sea lover, Gregory develops ingenious and original solutions to bring to life the bold lines of the U119.
Nicola Borella
Nicola Borella, an interior designer, whose business decorates and fits out the most beautiful hotels and residences in the world, adorns the interiors of our boats, notably the U119, to create places for living and pleasure.
